If I could see the Rhondda one more time
TALK …. When I was a little boy back in Sydney New South Wales
My grandpa used to sing of his home across the sea
His deep voice rising in the still Australian air
And this is what my Grandpa sang to me
The mist on the mountain’s the river running free
A big men walking home from the mines
The coal dust clinging to them as he slowly climes the hill’s
If I could see the Rhondda one more time
If I could see the Rhondda once again
And walk where I used to run as a child
The dust from that coal made its mark upon my soul
I’d love to see the Rhondda one more time
Five hundred voices singing in the chapel on the hill
The day that my old Grandpa past away
But I didn’t cry on the day that he died
Cos I know where my old Grandpa went that day
He’s walking down through Tyler’s town
In the Rhondda of his dreams
He’s standing on a hill above the mines;
The choirs fill the air as he’s proudly standing there
He’s singing in the Rhondda one more time
He’s singing in the Rhondda once again,
He walks where he used to run as a child
The dust from that coal made its mark upon his soul
And he’s gone to see the Rhondda one more time

My Wales
8 bars intro
The day I sailed away I had a feeling in my heart
A long long time would pass till I returned again
And the folks I left behind
Are always foremost on my mind
How I miss my land of song my home my Wales
So please send me daffodils
From deep among those green Welsh hills
And as they bloom for me I’ll think of home
Please send me daffodils
From deep among those green Welsh hills
Oh how I miss my land of song my Wales
This new land maybe fine
You know the sun shines all the time
But deep in side this loneliness remains
And I dream about the day when I’ll soon be on my way
Back to my land of song and home again
So please send me daffodils from deep among the green
Welsh hills
And as they bloom for me I’ll think of home
Yes please send me daffodils
From Deep among the green Welsh Hills
Oh how I miss my land of song my Wales
So please send me daffodils
From deep among the green Welsh hills
And as they bloom for me I’ll think of home
wont you please send me daffodils
From deep among the green Welsh Hills
Oh how I miss my land of song my Wales
Oh how I miss my land of song, my Wales……...
Oh I miss my Wales…………..
